Midnight Mass is a new Netflix original series that follows the lives of four friends who meet on Christmas Eve and decide to spend their night out partying. The show has been met with mixed reviews, but it’s still worth watching for its unique perspective on the holiday season.
Midnight Mass is a Netflix original series that has been released on October 27th, 2018. The show will be about the last 24 hours of three different people’s lives and how they react to being in the final hour of their lives.
If you’re a big fan of horror movies, you’ve undoubtedly heard of Flanagan. Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix horror series “Midnight Mass,” which he conceived, directed, produced, and scripted, has almost everyone talking.
Shirley Jackson’s “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor” adaptations, as well as Stephen King’s “Gerald’s Game” and “Doctor Sleep” adaptations, are among his other noteworthy Netflix horror productions. And if Midnight Mass is half as terrifying as any of those other frightening stories, as we know it will be, everyone will be frightened out of their minds in a couple of days.
The play has already received Stephen King’s formal approval through his official Twitter account, which is the greatest kind of praise. Mike Flanagan has created a rich, beautifully shot nightmare story that builds to a high pitch of dread by the seventh and final episode, he said on his Twitter account on September 14.
What Can We Expect From Netflix’s Midnight Mass?
Crockett Island, a tiny, isolated coastal village, has a midnight Mass. Riley Flynn (Gilford) comes home after spending time in prison for murdering a woman in a drunk-driving accident, and the hamlet is thrown into chaos. But then, out of nowhere, a new, young, charismatic priest called Father Paul (Linklater) comes, instantly infusing new hope in the town.
Unexplained miracles begin to happen, allegedly at the hands and will of Father Paul, and the community is not only re-energized by religion but also restored to optimism. As a result, the series seems to fit in the faith and religion category thus far, yet there is horror weaved throughout. It seems that miracles, even inexplicable, divine ones, may come at an exorbitant, unfathomable cost.
Even if you aren’t a fan of the horror genre, you should watch this thriller miniseries for a unique and terrifying experience that you will never forget.
